2021 Redfield
This new cider is made from red fleshed apples of the same name grown in our organic home orchard. This apple variety is from the USDA apple repository in Geneva, NY where thousands of varieties are grown. This orchard was featured by Michael Pollan in his book The Botany of Desire.
Tasting Notes: The aromas are of tamarind and exotic fruit. It is bright and acidic like key lime.
Pairings: Alfredo, quiche, oysters and other seafood dishes.
