camp with us
We have a couple of sites that are bookable online.
Both sites are located on the edge of a mature forest and large field. This is primitive camping - there are no modern conveniences such as bathroom and shower facilities. Relax with pastoral views of wide open spaces and butterfly habitat while accessing hiking trails and a cidery serving artisanal food 5 days per week. They are the perfect home base for exploring the Finger Lakes waterfalls, Cayuga Lake, hiking, wineries, cideries, Ithaca and Watkins Glen. This area is known for its many State Parks with beautiful gorges, waterfalls, Cornell University and Ithaca College.
What people are saying…
“We had such a wonderful experience. The location is relatively close to the cider house but far enough away that you don't hear all that's going on. The tasting is a must, the ciders are made locally and the food is delicious. We took some time to talk to the host/owner and he pointed out the best hikes as well as local swimming holes to cool off.” - Celia B.
“I hesitate to share how truly peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and convenient our stay was because I selfishly want to keep this hidden gem to ourselves. The host was incredibly helpful in directing us to onsite running trails as well as restaurants in Ithaca. The bed was comfortable and town was a 5 minute drive. We already have booked our next stay!” - Ellen B.
“Great place for a quick or extended camping trip. Not far from town. Hiking trail right there. Buttermilk and Taughannock Falls are not far either. Not a huge cider fan, but South Hill cider was delicious and had a great variety available!” - Cody N.
