Oji:sda: Fundraiser @ South Hill Cider

Please join us for the OJI:SDA' fundraiser for the organization.

Oji:sda mission:

Oji:sda expands indigneous visibility, land literacy and good health by using innovative methods of sharing ancestral knowledge. Through media arts and authentic curriculum we focus on environmental protection, sustainability, community wellbeing, healing, and cultural vibrancy.

Performances include:

Akwesasne Mohawk singer Bear Fox and Lydia Garrison, a fantastic fiddler and banjo picker

La Llorona : La Llorona is a fusion of genres and cultures. It is violin and voice crying out together. It is Ithaca forests meeting Mexican folklore. It is dreams and reality colliding. It is a unique musical experience you don’t want to miss. 

An Ithaca local, Alejandra Diemecke of La Llorona weaves together loops and voice to create enchanting musical landscapes.

Revolutionary and Mini Revolution Southside Community Center dance troupes. 

Dinner plates prepared by Earth Sol Catering available for purchase and OJI:SDA' bags to further support the OJI:SDA' mission. Dinner is nutritious and yummy, mostly vegan options.

Meal is prepared by Earth Sol , mostly vegan meal, feel good stew, pickled beets, cornbread (will have regular cornbread, vegan and gluten free options will also be available), mixed green salad. 

Suggested Donation: $20

Food Plates: $10 for adults; $5 for youth under 12
