About the artist:
My name is Loreto Molina, a self-taught Chilean artist currently residing in Ithaca. My passion for art stems from my desire to express and capture the beauty and essence of women from a female perspective.
For far too long, female representation in art has been limited to male interpretation. Therefore, through my work, I strive to explore the naturalness of women, friendship, family, and love in everyday scenes. I predominantly feature pastel colors in my paintings, which are created through a unique blend of watercolor and acrylic.
Using my artwork, I also aim to raise awareness about women's freedom, safety and happiness. Join me on my artistic journey and discover those sublime natural experiences of women we tend to overlook in our everyday lives
