Dijon is coming back for another night of spinning records in the tasting room!! Two hours of post disco, synth pop, Italo disco type of vibe for your listening pleasure while you check out the artwork and sip on cider. It’s gonna be a funky good time!

Meet the artist:

Zachary Scotton is an Ithaca-based artist and clothing designer. He uses botanically dyed canvas to create an array of objects featuring his unique patchwork style and dye practices. Scotton draws from traditional patchwork styles but also steps away from tradition finding inspiration in the wavy organic forms found in nature, like overlapping clouds, flower petal configurations, and water currents. The color palette is mostly of muted tones, though the compositions’ exploration in gradation creates dimension and depth. Scotton pays homage to his background in denim repair and alteration through the heavy use of indigo and an overall dye application that resembles the patina of well-worn denim.
