Erika Medina-Dream Language
Local artist Erika Medina creates art in which layers of emotion and experiences are laid out symbolically on the human form in a series of mixed media figures and paintings.
Her art speaks to the subconscious in a dream language of universal symbols with meanings that reach our innermost selves, a place that words cannot enter. She creates art to stir emotions within herself and the viewer, to help us remember our deep connection to the Earth, to each other and to Spirit.
